hey everyone,

does anyone know if there is one of those garage car wash places in the east end? (i live by neilson/finch area in scarboro). i'm talking about those places you can go and use their water hose/vacuum for a small fee, i think you bring ur own cleaning material (cloths, soap, etc.)

i used to wash my car on the driveway when i was living with the folks but since i moved out here into a condo i miss washing the car myself ...

thx!

Good luck.

You mean like a coin-op wash?

If so, there are a couple I know of in Scarborough

Kennedy and Finch (at the Petro Canada)
Nantucket and Kennedy (northeast corner)
Lawerence (northside) between Warden and Pharmacy

a couple of the people I know with Condo's have hoses (if not full car washing facilities) in their underground garage.

May as well check since it may be covered in your condo fee's already.

Here's my cheap man's method of coin-op wash: $4 total

Bring: bucket, car detergent, sponge, drying chamois

1. Switch to WASH (just water) Put in $2
2. Blast all the dirt away from your car
3. Before water time ends, fill bucket with water (detergent already inside)
4. Use sponge and wash car throughly
5. Use another sponge and wash your rims
6. Put in $2 again, use water setting again
7. Wash off all the soap on the car
8. Use drying chamois and dry car

DONE ! $4 only hehe

^^ Thats a good idea. Seeing as my trunk is full of cleaning products anyways, only thing i need is water. Ill try that soon, seeing as my car is due for a wash.
