Hello....

This would be my first post here, but definately not my first post on automotive related forums! :) I recently bought a used silver 98 Acura 1.6EL, and am very happy with my decision so far considering I have a manual instead of the slush-box I used to have :D Tomorrow I should be buying new 17 inch MSR 103 wheels:

And on Saturday will get them installed and get my calipers painted black at the same time. :D But the only problem is they are offering it in a package and are giving me the choice of tires that I have never heard about, but I think my first option is Nankang NS-1 tires.
Anyways, just saying hi to all the EL owners out there! :P And I hope you guys can help me with any questions I may have! :rolleyes:

Don't go with the Nankangs! Please stay away from them, I've had them as my first set of tires, cheap ass quality. Max PSI is only 32 :shake: , go over that and your sure to blow em over a lil bump. I'm only down to 1 Nankang now, the other 3 all popped. Just waiting for this one to go so I can get my new Yoko. Kumho Ecsta 712 is a very good tire, see if you can get a set of those

i have to agree with Qber with the nankang's, i had a customer with a brand new set and 3 of 4 were seperated! could be bad luck but i wouldn't take the chance. i actually own a set of kuhmo 712, i'm very happy with them and they only ran me 550!

Thanks for telling me not to get the Nankangs!! :D I'm going with the 712s and I hope I am not dissapointed. I just came back from outof town and will check to see if the tires and wheels are in yet. Thanks for the help! :)
