you can customize a shroud or im pretty sure the E55(not to sure) may fit but needs to be trimmed....

i recommend makin your own...either cut apart a pop can or use some aluminum sheeting....whatever fits the best....take a trip to home depot and look around...ya might find the oddest things but it may be jus what ya need.

post pics when ya done.

i just want to make sure, the shroud will basiaclly wrap around the projector ( the gap between the lens and the back housing ) is this correct?

main objective is to trap all the light and have it only directed to the glass lense?

im pretty sure the shroud is jus a cosmetic piece...i dont think it covers the gap...

not 100% sure tho...sorry dude.

i want projectors so bad :'(
jus A VERY STUPID QUESTION
do u need 2 have HIDz wit projectors or can u install the projectors on ur stock h4 based lights?

RC----theres acouple different kinds of HID setups....

1.)were ya retro a projector in the EL housing....by far the best because it looks OEM, nexx to no glare, and the flicker is jus too damn sexy.

2.)buy the plug and play kits.....prob is that there hella expensive(for a quality one)....and the glare is blinding to others...ya need a casper shield too help eliminate some of the glare.

im sure there is more methods but im not 100% sure how they work.

what is "flicker"?

Flicker is the reason most people want xenon lighting. It's the purple prism effect you see coming at you though the light is pure white.

Yeah, I'm not sure about projectors on the stock H4 bulbs... I was asking about having projectors on a plug and play kit and ppl were saying that the bulb wouldn't fit into a projector housing. Is that correct?

It's correct. It won't fit unless you use a standard D2S bulb. They don't make prjectors for H4 retrofits yet :shake:

hey you think you could buy a set of aftermarket projector headlights for a civic and retro fit those into our headlights. aren't these projectors made to fit regular halogen bulbs?

do you mean fit the projector from the aftermarket civic light into the EL housing?
can be done but the lighting would be shit, even worse than what it is now.....best bet is to jus fit a TRUE HID projector inthe housing.

so plug and play hid kits wouldn't work on projectors???

No they will not work. Just get on ebay and buy a full oem set-up. Projectors with an aftermarket xenon kit are not compatible. Because all projectors are made for factory components, you therefore need factory equipment. Essentially you need a true D2S bulb for projectors. A shitty hid kit will not adapt.

The projector HardBoiler has are Hella H9 90mm projectors which is exactly same thing I'm selling right now.

Only these are refered as Hella 90mm. You don't need to make the shroud around it because it's already waterproofed and closed. However, you need little grinding at the back, because its backplate is made for H9, not D2S bulbs. No big deal.

These are OEM Hella Bi-xenon projectors from European Audi RS6(you don't call it Hella 90mm, mines are not even 90mm). You need custom made shroud so light won't escape from the projector and glare others.
I made it with an aluminum plate.
